Newborn Photography can be tricky with older siblings sometimes but back in August when I came to Exeter Hospital to photography Baby Ozzi for his Fresh 48 Session, his big brother Enzo stole the show!
I can usually tell how a session is going to go within the first few minutes and when Enzo climbed up to look inside the bassinet at his little brother, I knew we had gold! He was so adorable, giving his new brother a stuffed giraffe and touching his toes. AHHH – a photographers dream.
Mom and Dad were wonderful as well and completely relaxed and just so overjoyed with their new little man. I loved watching their interaction with both boys and it was so fun hanging out with them.
Fresh 48 Newborn Sessions usually take place the day after delivery. When I come to your hospital room, I spend the first few minutes tidying up the room and yes, I rummage through your baby bag to see what you have for blankets and such that I can incorporate. This gorgeous newborn swaddle that mom had was the perfect blanket for this session. I just love how the color pops.
Ozzi had a nice full belly and was very happy to just hang out all snuggled up in his bassinet while I took his close up. Those lips and his eyes are just amazing and I was so happy that he was awake for our session.
Details, details, details…have I mentioned how much I LOVE detail shots. Those feet will only be tiny for a little while and those little fingers that are wrapped around dad’s hands. AHHH – this is why I love photographing newborns. Everything about them is too darn cute.
Exeter Hospital here in NH has some of the most amazing natural light and is one of my most favorite places to take pictures.
