As a NH Beach Photographer with three kids of my own, I never seem to have enough time to get pictures of my own kids. It’s not really about having the time myself, but I need at least ONE more person to help me to corral these kids while I shoot. This past weekend we had a mini vacation on Cape Cod and I had a “village” with me to help run around after these three. Let’s just say that sometimes you just can’t get them all looking at the same time! Of course, mine all go in 3 different directions.
What I love most though is that it captures their personalities perfectly. Conor (my oldest) is very happy to be with his siblings and is at an age where he listens to directions (most of the time). Reilly is 4 and well, 4 is the worst! He does what he wants and this photo shows him in true Reilly style – just doing his own thing and digging in the sand. And then there is Charlianne – or as we call her at home “tornado Chuck”. She is constantly on the move and it is hysterical to watch!
This girl is only 16 months old and already taking charge of our whole world. She started to crawl before she could sit and has been a solid walker for over 6 months. Now, she is in a full sprint ALL THE TIME. No worries though, these big brothers are always there to catch her when she falls.
My kids love the beach as much as I do and each year when we go to Cape Cod to visit family we love to head down to Paines Creek to eat dinner and watch the sunset. This year we had more clouds than sun but the company was worth it. My aunt Kathy, who is a budding photographer took this great photo of me and my little lady and I just LOVE IT! THANKS KATH!
I am usually the one behind the lens and am so happy when the opportunity arises for me to have someone else take a photo of me and my babies. I urge all of my clients to do the same. Step out of your comfort zone and be sure to get some photos of you with your babies because they will be all grown up before you know it. Trust me – my “little man” is catching up to me quick!
I would love to spend the evening with you and your family at the beach. If you are looking for a NH Beach Photographer, please contact me today! I love having my toes in the sand while at work :).
