Last year when the pandemic hit, my heart broke for the high school seniors here on the Seacoast. Proms were cancelled, graduations in masks with limited family able to attend and no end of year celebrations. The classes of 2020 and 2021 missed out on so much. One thing that we could still do to commemorate this important milestone was a Senior Portrait Session. Over the summer of 2020 I had the pleasure of documenting one of the most beautiful souls I have ever had the pleasure to know.
Meet Natalee…
Natalee has a love of theatre, music, skiing, flowers and the color pink. I remember the pink part because a few years back at herBat Mitzvah, I remember her saying she didn’t care about anything but her pink dress and the candy! Natalee was about to have major surgery on her jaw so we wanted to get her session before that. I knew Prescott Park would be a perfect location for her, between the flowers, the stage and the pier it was totally “Natalee”.
When meeting with seniors to plan the session, I always ask them what their vision is…most don’t really care. Not Natalee…she had her wardrobe all planned out and ready to go. Her favorite RED shirt against the beautiful gardens are some of my favorite. This fashionista really knows her stuff. At the reveal session, Natalee invited her best friend, parents and grandparents to preview her images. I will be honest when I say that I welled up a little watching them all see her looking so grown up. The little girl who was my neighbor many years ago is now and adult heading off to college and it has been an honor to watch her become such a beautiful woman. Both inside and out!
As a Portsmouth, NH Senior Photographer, I have been out scouting locations and it’s getting pretty out there! There are a few dates still available for those in the Class of 2021 who may have missed out. Class of 2022 – NOW BOOKING June, July, August & EARLY September. Yearbook deadlines are in early Fall so plan ahead!

Watching my “kid” clients become teenagers is so much fun! I have been photographing this gorgeous girl every year since she was around 6 years old and am so proud of the woman that she is becoming! Teagan will be graduating this evening from Exeter High School and I am so excited to be there as she receives her diploma.
Mom tagged along for her session and just like most moms, the waterworks were flowing! It is hard watching your babies grow up and knowing that they will be heading off to start their adult lives in just a few short months. This is definitely the best reason to invest in senior portraits. I love to capture those final moments of “kids being young”. Before you know it…they are getting married and having their own children.
The sunset at Great Island Common in New Castle was the perfect backdrop for her senior portraits last August. We were even lucky enough to get an amazing sunset!
Congratulations Teagan and the rest of the Exeter High School Class of 2018! Fly High Hawks!!!

It is SENIOR WEEK at Exeter High School here in New Hampshire and it is bitter sweet for me. I know so many of these kids graduation! Kylie was born just after I graduated from college and I was honored to be by her mother’s side the day she was born. I remember it like it was yesterday and now I am so excited to be there on the day that she graduates high school.
Kylie is such a great kid and local families here in Newfields, NH fight over her when we are looking for a babysitter. She is great with kids and is such a great role model. Her smile and giggle is infectious and it shows in all of her senior portraits.
We had a beautiful night at Great Island Common in New Castle last August. From start to finish, Kylie was beaming about her upcoming senior year and I can’t believe the end is already here. I cried the day that she was born and I am sure I will be a mess on Friday afternoon watching her graduate!
Thank you Kylie for making me an “auntie”. I am so proud of you and cannot wait to see where your journey takes you! Love you to the moon and back. XOXO, Auntie Jennie

The snow has melted, the trees have new buds on them and the daffodils are starting to bloom. Spring is here! After a long New Hampshire winter, I am so excited to introduce you to all of the new products and experiences that White Wave Photography will be showcasing this year.
I have worked really hard this winter researching products and services that I can offer to my clients and I would like to start with my favorite…
THE IMAGE BOX
I am thrilled to offer this addition to your image presentation selection: Image Boxes. Your prints will be printed on photo paper with a fine linen finish to avoid finger prints when handling the images and will be mounted on styrene which is a super smooth all plastic board that is not affected by humidity or moisture. You can choose a set of 10 images in 5″ x 7″ or 20 images in 8″ x 10” format, and I will design a custom photo cover with a smooth wrap around cover. Each image box comes with an easel to display your prints.
This product is perfect to display your “first year” photos, family portraits and seniors. I love that you can rotate the images out and showcase your prints year-round. The image box pictured here is full of my daughter’s first year photos including each major milestone and the holidays. You could also store mementos such as hospital bracelets, locks of hair from a first hair cut and even their first artwork. I just love this product and I know you will too!

I love when I get to photograph family members during the milestones in their lives. Abby is graduating this year and when her dad called and asked me to do her senior portraits I jumped at the opportunity. We packed up the kids and drove to Hyannis, MA for a day at the beach and then had a perfect evening to capture these amazing photos of Abby. The light was perfect, the beach setting was perfect and her smile was contagious! We had so much fun and I absolutely LOVE the way that they came out. Happy Senior Year Abby!
