The pregnancy and newborn stage go by in a blur! As a mom of teenagers, I can’t believe they were once little ity bitty babies. Between appointments, baby prep, sleepless nights, and all the best baby snuggles, it goes by way too fast. You want to remember it all! From your growing bump, those sweet little toes, and their precious little face as they sleep, but, hey, finding the time (and energy!) for a full portrait session might feel impossible!
That is exactly why I created my Simplicity Sessions! These are a petite version of my signature full portrait experience that’s designed to help busy mamas like you capture meaningful milestones with ease! I’ll share more about these sessions below with reasons why you might like to choose it and why you might not!
What is a Simplicity Session VS a Full Photography Session?
Simplicity Sessions are a short and sweet photography session that is perfect for documenting your journey into motherhood and beyond! These are a condensed version of my full-service photography experience, and are typically held in my cozy downtown Exeter, NH White Wave Studio.
Whether you’re newly pregnant, or are navigating those first few weeks with your newborn, or even celebrating your baby’s milestones, these Simplicity Sessions give you beautiful, professional images without any stress! You still have access to my studio and client wardrobe. Each package includes a handful of digitals with an easy upgrade option if you want more!
Perfect For Growing Families
You would not be sacrificing quality while we keep things simple! I’m still here to help you have an amazing session. Instead of figuring out a location, we’ll meet at my studio. Skip worrying about your outfit with my client wardrobe. Decide you want hair and makeup? We can add that for an additional fee.
You’ll feel relaxed and confident heading into and during your session! You’re still getting the signature White Wave Photography experience, just in a petite version.
Simplicity Session Offerings
Some moms book one Simplicity Session to capture a milestone like pregnancy, newborn, or baby milestone.
Simplicity Maternity Sessions – For expectant mamas only at the studio on weekday mornings. Studio wardrobe available for use. Professional hair and makeup services can be added for expectant mamas. We typically capture maternity photos between 28-35 weeks.
This session includes:
- 20 minute session for expectant mama only
- 2 outfits
- 10 digital images
Simplicity Newborn Sessions – A smaller, baby only session for families interested in capturing just baby. This session is offered on a flat fee basis with no separate retainer fee.
This session includes:
- 60-90 minute session
- Wrap, blankets, and accessories from WWP wardrobe
- 10 high resolution digital files in color and black and white
- Additional image purchase available
Simplicity Baby Milestone Sessions – A short and sweet way to capture portraits throughout a baby’s first year at the studio on a weekday morning. I love studio baby sessions for the ease and comfort! Studio wardrobe available for use.
This session includes:
- 3-12 months old
- 20 minute session with baby only
- 2 outfits
- 10 digital images in color and black and white
- Additional image purchase available
Why Shouldn’t You Choose a Simplicity Session?
When would I not recommend a Simplicity Session? If you’re looking for more customization in your session, you’ll definitely want the full experience. With my full portrait experience, your session can be on-location, at the studio, or in your home. You’ll receive my full wardrobe guidance and support leading up to your session.
I’d say the biggest reason I would recommend not choosing a Simplicity Session is if you want to include other family members in the session. Simplicity Sessions only include our main star (like mom or the baby). If you want to include your family or want images with you and your baby (which are some of my favorites), then I highly recommend a full portrait session.
